SRC provides expert witness services in telephone evidence evaluations, connection charting and cell site analysis as well as taking instructions in general telecommunications cases including the installation of appropriate telecoms systems and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Each of the main telecommunications areas are described in their own section and are summarised as follows:
Cell site analysis involves determining the general locality of a mobile telephone at the time of its past connections. It involves consideration of a number of factors and usually requires the use of a specialist handset in order to measure the cells on a mobile network.

Connection charting involves producing a list of patterns of mobile telephone connections often addressing who contacted who, for how long and when. It can also address the meaning of data in connection records including if calls were answered, how long the call rang prior to being answered (and the meaning of this), if an SMS message was delivered etc.
Handset Evidence Evaluation involves interpretting data from mobile telphones and performing functionality testing to determine the meaning of stored data.
Contact SRC to discuss your telecommunications matter.
