19th August 2011 - Sam went on the Certified Security Incident Specialist course dealing with incident response and live forensics and passed with distinction.

26th August 2010 - Sam spoke at the Microsoft Certified Trainers event in York, UK about "A False Sense of Security". This talk introduced the field of computer forensics and discussed how security policies may be a saving grace in corporate investigations.
18th August 2010 - Result of Student writing competition means a MSc student, Apurva Rustagi, studying Forensic Informatics at the University of Strathclyde has obtained a free place on the Investigating connection records course.
